Prime Minister Edi Rama recalled the harsh language of former British minister Suella Braverman towards Albanian immigrants in England.
Emphasizing that "that eight ran away from power", Rama shared with the Albanians a series of episodes that had happened to him in Britain. The latter have a common and powerful message...
" You all remember a former Home Minister of this country, a guy who became the epitome of evil politics, pointing at us as a danger to the UK, without an iota of shyness that lady came to parliament and said that what is happening was a break, it made us conquerors as if the Albanians were soldiers and not part of the human mass that even to this day works these lands. The lady called us invaders, did you say that we had come to seek the head of the queen's crown, and not to work while also helping the British economy which is suffering more and more due to lack of work. A few others stood up and pointed at us as if we were vikings with swords in our hands, not masons, shepherds, men ready for any job and dreamy minors for every tip. Our ambassador in London is one of them, he came with a dinghy and graduated, and the Albanian who was the driver for me today came with a truck. Today there is a private security company with 120 employees, not only Albanians. He is not an invader, he is a contributor to this country.
