Artan Lame's heart stops beating, his mother shivers with the words of farewell: I hoped... he promised me he would come back

Diana Lame, the mother of intellectual and publicist Artan Lame, confirmed this Friday the news that he has passed away. His heart beat for the last time until noon on May 23, when doctors were forced to remove his life support.

"Dear friends, friends and well-wishers. I cannot bear to write about the loss of my dear, beloved son Artan Lame. But this cursed moment came and took away the hope that I had yesterday," writes Mrs. Diana Lame.

She recounts her son's last moments and says that he had promised her that he would return to Albania after they had spoken on the phone, and had told her that he was calm and not afraid of the operation.

"I was hoping because he promised me he would come back, "...-I don't mind tomorrow (the operation) I'm fine, I'm calm but I'm focusing on the Museum." Even when I woke him up from sleep he would talk about the Museum. When they bring Tanin here, we will let you know the further procedures," she writes.

Artan Lame officially passed away at noon this Friday, May 23, in Munich, Germany. His large heart, which had room for everyone, stopped beating forever when doctors decided to remove his life support.

Since Thursday morning, Lame had fallen into a coma and was being kept alive by machines, in the hope that his body would respond and he would win the battle for life for the second time. But unfortunately, this time his heart betrayed him forever.
