Murder of Elis Rroshkodoli in Shkodra, the mastermind Voltan Xhani and his brother are arrested

Voltan Xhani, the man who was arrested this morning in Durrës, is the main suspect in the organization and murder of Elis Rroshkodoli in the "Ahmet Haxhiu" neighborhood in Shkodra on the afternoon of August 30, 2024.

Along with Voltan Xhani, his brother, Jurgert Xhani, was also arrested, against whom an investigative file has already been opened on charges of "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition", "Failure to report a crime" and "Supporting the perpetrator of a crime".

This is because during the physical search, the police found 1 firearm, a pistol, and combat ammunition.

Voltan Xhani, his brother and father Petrit Xhani are shareholders in the "Aleksandri Grup" dairy company in Lushnja.

It turns out that Voltan Gianni has been declared wanted, while his nephew Giulio Malo was arrested by the police for "providing the conditions to commit murder" and "actions that hinder the uncovering of the truth."

Xhani and Rroshkodoli met early in the country of Belgium, where they lived for years, and it is suspected that they had serious clashes due to criminal activity in the drug trade.

It is suspected that Xhani organized the crime, as with the help of his nephew and two other people he trafficked cars from abroad, which he kept in a service station in Bërzhitë.

One of the vehicles, parts of which were found inside the garage, was used to commit the murder.

On the trail of the service station where the evidence of the crime was found, the police fell while following the movement of the vehicle after the assassination.

In connection with the murder of Rroshkodol, the police have announced that two other people are wanted.

Police suspect that the motive for Rroshkodol's murder is a dispute over illegal trafficking, but they also claim that Voltan Xhani is not the only one interested in his murder.

It is suspected that there are other people who financed the serious crime.
