This morning, news broke that the former head of the Cadastre, Artan Lame, had passed away in a hospital in Germany, after a heart complication.

In fact, this evening it was announced that this is not true, as Lame is in a cerebral coma, a serious condition but still one where the patient is considered alive, although with a small chance of survival.

Journalist Lutfi Dervishi says that this is not the first time that Lame has "seen death with his own eyes."

In the evening, the news changed: Artan Lame has not died. He is in a coma.

It's not the first time life has taken such a turn. Even in 2016, after his aortic rupture, everything seemed to be ending. And he returned as a witness who had seen the other shore, but chose to stay a little longer on this side.

There is something profound, almost metaphysical, in this pause between life and death. Like a breath of fresh air, a space where not even words dare to come before life.

And if Artan Lame returns, as he did once before, he will probably be the only person who has read all the consolations for himself… and has returned to succeed one more time.
