"Cut the bars and come down with sheets", 3 Albanians escape from the

Three prisoners of Albanian origin escaped from Treviso prison, around 5:00 yesterday, after cutting the bars of the cell and sitting on sheets.

Two of them were immediately apprehended by prison police.

The news was announced by Gennarino De Fazio, Secretary General of the Wilpa Prison Police.

The 27-year-old fugitive was detained on a European arrest warrant for attempted murder, robbery, possession of explosives and other drug trafficking crimes, all committed outside Italy.
