A 42-year-old man was arrested by the Durrës Police after allegedly stealing from at least four different apartments during the month of July.

The police of the coastal city say that during the arrest, 2 wristwatches, a gold ring, 2 mobile phones and a vehicle were seized from the 42-year-old as material evidence.

Police Notification:

The 42-year-old man was caught and arrested for repeatedly stealing from apartments, valuables and jewelry.

Some of the stolen items, 2 mobile phones and a vehicle were seized.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station, as a result of the investigative and operational actions, carried out immediately after the complaints received from the citizens, for cases of thefts in apartments, have identified, caught and arrested the citizen JI, 42 years old, resident in Durrës.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the 42-year-old, during the month of July 2023, stole valuable items and jewelry in 4 different apartments.

As material evidence, 2 wristwatches, a gold ring, 2 mobile phones and a vehicle were seized.

Investigative actions continue to reveal other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
