The Traffic Police has published the weekly results of the Tirana Traffic Police Station for the past week.

The road announces that strict measures have been implemented, resulting in a total of 21 arrests and criminal proceedings. At the same time, it is learned that an average of almost 1,600 fines were imposed per day.

During the last week, strict measures have been implemented to maintain order and road safety:

✅ 21 Arrests, detentions and criminal proceedings:

     • ???? - 4 people for driving under the influence of alcohol.
     • ???? -5 people for not having a driving license. 
     • ???? -7 people for violating traffic rules.
     • ???? -1 person under the influence of narcotics.
     • ???????? - 2 people leaving the scene of the accident "
     • ??????? - 2 people were caught by the Traffic Police services who were declared wanted.

✅ Administrative measures:

• ???? 11,174 administrative measures imposed, an average of 1,596 per day.
• ???? 55 measures for black glasses.
• ???????? 238 measures for speeding over the permitted rates.
• ???? 166 measures for mobile phone use while driving.
• ???? 593 measures for not wearing a seat belt.
      • ⚠️ 347 measures for not giving priority to citizens.
      • ????️ 8,793 measures for wrong posture.
      • ????️ 195 measures for not using the protective helmet/phosphorescent vest, article 169.

✅ Suspensions and blockages:

• ???? 4 cases of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.
      • ???? 7 cases of speeding
      • ???????? 8 different cases  

???????? 6 vehicles were blocked, including 4 for traffic verification.
