The US delegation meets the head of SPAK and the prosecutors

High personalities of the American justice held a meeting today (July 10) with the head of SPAK Altin Dumani and the prosecutors.

The meeting was held to discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law.

The US Embassy in our country announces that the meeting group included Trina Higgins, US Attorney for the District of Utah; Chief Judge Robert Shelby of the District Court of Utah; and Justice Paige Petersen of the Utah Supreme Court. 1/2

A delegation of American justice personalities visited SPAK, where they met with the head Altin Dumani and the prosecutors to discuss the ongoing efforts to strengthen the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law.

The panel includes the Honorable Trina Higgins, US Attorney for the District of Utah; Chief Judge Robert Shelby of the District Court of Utah; and Utah Supreme Court Justice Paige Petersen.

They underlined how important it is to prosecute with integrity and professionalism to fight corruption, organized crime and impunity. The United States is proud to support SPAK and other justice institutions that are building a stronger democracy for the Albanian people ,' the US embassy announces .
