Police officer Inspector M. K. , on duty as General Patrol at the Tirana Police Department , has been arrested, suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Violation of road traffic rules ".

The arrest in flagrante delicto was carried out by the Police Supervision Agency ( Tirana Region), after at around 17:30, while driving a motorcycle on " Bajram Curri " Boulevard, he hit citizen PF, 65 years old.

The injured person was immediately transported to the " Shefqet Ndroqi " hospital in serious condition and, as a result of the injuries sustained, died at around 9:00 PM.

As a result of the accident, the police officer was also injured.

Police announcement:

The Police Supervision Agency ( Tirana Region ) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer Inspector MK, on ​​duty as General Patrol at the Tirana Police Department, suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Violation of road traffic rules " provided for in article 299/3 of the Criminal Code.

His arrest was carried out after today at around 17:30, while driving a motorcycle on "Bajram Curri" Boulevard, he hit citizen PF, 65 years old , who was immediately taken to the " Shefqet Ndroqi " hospital in serious condition and died as a result of his injuries at around 21:00. The police officer was also injured.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana.
