Following Mayor Erion Veliaj's decision to dismiss Ristan, the Secretary General of the Municipality of Tirana, Eldi Hoxha, has also resigned.

In his place, Veliaj has appointed Alban Dokushi to the position of Secretary General.

Dokushi returns to this position following a decision by the Administrative Court, which had decided to reinstate him.
