Behgjet Pacolli has reacted to the news regarding the 100 million euro financing agreement signed between his company MABCO and the Delphos Securities fund for the Vlora Airport project.

In his recent reaction on Facebook, Pacolli calls the debate about Delfos a big lie that is causing doubts in public opinion.

"The narrative about Delfos is a shameful LIE that has created confusion in the public and has served as an instrument for certain JUDGES who issued illegal judicial decisions ," writes Pacolli.

The businessman's reaction comes a few hours after an article circulated online stating that the Ministry of Infrastructure has sent an official letter to MABCO, raising suspicions that the company may have submitted incomplete or incorrect information regarding obligations arising from agreements with the Delfoos fund.

These illegal actions, in addition to the irreparable damage they have caused to MABCO, the community and the state, have also attempted to violate the constitutional and legal order of the country. The bodies responsible for combating crime must investigate and punish these phenomena in accordance with the law, to protect the rule of law and its institutions.”

There is something that always impresses me in Albanian public life. So often, it is not so interesting what is said as the moment when it is decided to say it.

For months we heard the same speculations, accusations, the same claims, the same theories, Delfos Delfos, Delfos. They were said in television studios, in political statements, in court proceedings. Back then they were considered mere claims of a party to the conflict. Today, suddenly, they are emerging as institutional concerns even when the claims received exhaustive answers from the Supreme Court. So, every normal businessman here has the right to ask himself what has changed?

Because facts are either true from day one, or they are not at all. They do not become true only when the voice that pronounces them changes. I am also surprised by the very idea that an investor can impose a burden on rights that he does not own alone. In every concessionary relationship there are clear boundaries. No one can dispose of what is not his alone. Even less so when rights and interests that also belong to the state are involved. This is as clear as daylight!

Therefore, the question is not whether one can do this. The question is whether one can do it without the consent of those who have their share of the right? And the answer seems clear in the light of day. Any other claim remains the subject of ongoing legal proceedings. The courts are the place where facts are proven and where claims and speculations gain or lose legal value.

But when legal debates start to turn into "public alarms," ??one cannot help but wonder whether the real concern is what might happen tomorrow, or what someone wants to achieve the day after tomorrow.
