Anti-drug operation in Tirana, over 30 arrests, nearly 20 in handcuffs

The Tirana police have undertaken an anti-drug operation, while putting about 20 people behind bars.

According to BalkanWeb, in total there are over 30 arrests for people suspected of distributing narcotics in the capital.

Therefore, the arrested are suspected of distributing narcotics in the vicinity of schools and nightclubs. The operation was carried out by the anti-narcotics department of the Tirana Police.

From this action, it is known that narcotics, cocaine, monetary values, etc. were seized, but the details of the operation are not yet known. So, at 09:00, at the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, director Tonin Vocaj will appear today in a press conference to provide details on the action in question.
