Today, the rent payment of 68 million euros for two floating TECs parked in Vlora has started, although they have not worked a single day and have not produced a single kilowatt of energy.

KESH has stated today in the Administrative Court of First Instance that it has received the TEC and that the sale of energy to KESH with 1 Euro is already starting. At the same time, according to the contract, the rent of 68 million starts immediately.

Floating TEC has a production cost of 1 10 times greater than the purchase price of electricity on the international stock exchange.

The floating TEC was brought to Albania on the grounds of the energy crisis that could be caused by the war in Ukraine. The company that owns the ships is in fiscal paradise in Delaware, USA. Excelerate Energy Limited Partnership is the company and the real owners are not known.
