The 30th consecutive protest began on Monday evening, as hundreds of citizens initially gathered at "Skënderbej" Square, then marched towards the Prime Minister's Office building.

This time, a group of MEPs are expected to join the protest.

One of the organizers of the protest, Arben Kola, has warned that the next day protesters will gather in Rrjoll, as the fence that was removed a few days ago by protesters has been restored there.

"Tomorrow we have two battles, one in Rrjoll for those who are strong and know how to use picks, crowbars, hammers, and one will be in front of Parliament, or the Supreme Court," said Kola.

Similar to previous rallies, the organizers have stated that the main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing that the protests will continue until it is fulfilled.

After gathering in the center of Tirana, the protesters began their march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches are expected to be given and the movement's demands articulated.

Previously, Tirana Police have criminally prosecuted 31 citizens in connection with the rally held in the capital, suspecting them of organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations, disrupting public order and peace, and obstructing the movement of means of transport.
