First Ukrainians to flee war have entered Albania

In Albania, the first group of Ukrainians to flee conflict with Russia in their country has arrived.

According to ABC News, they have entered from the border with North Macedonia at the Thatha Neck crossing point.

It is about 20 Ukrainian citizens, who have entered our country in the last three days.

Citing sources from border police, the ABC says none of the Ukrainians have asked for assistance for shelter, or humanitarian assistance, and are thought to be apartment owners on the Albanian coast.

Meanwhile, a Ukrainian couple is said to have settled in the city of Kumanovo, where they have asked to open bank accounts, but have been refused by second-rate banks because they are not equipped with residence permits in our country.
