Not only in Tirana. Protests have been taking place in Korça for several days now.
One of the most moving moments of the protest held in Korça today was the speech of a 12-year-old girl, who addressed the citizens with a message for the future of her generation.
"Many of you may be thinking I'm too young to be here.
It may be true, but I am not so small as not to understand the things that are happening around me, how this land, which our ancestors fought for, is being sold without a second thought.
I am 12 years old, I want to dream about my school and fulfill my dreams, but it is very difficult for me, because I am thinking about all the things that worry my family and many Albanian families. I see young people stressed about the economic situation, old people with tears in their eyes from longing for their children.
I am very sad to see my excellent sister going abroad. I love Albania and I want to live here. I really want to have an education here, and my parents a job.
"We are the children of this country, the future of Albania. Give us a reason to stay, learn and dream without fear of being expelled from our country. I will not be afraid because fear is what is expelling us from this country," she said.
