The Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, in an appearance before the media about the anti-drug mega-operation that led to the arrest of about 233 people throughout the country, stated that this operation "is directly related to the future of our children", as it was carried out within of the "war on the sale of narcotics near school premises".

"To guarantee the safety of students in schools, some new measures have been implemented. One of them is the intensification of the war on the sale of narcotics near school premises. Today's mega-operation is directly related to the future of our children", said Rrumbullaku.

According to the director of the State Police, 23 criminal networks have been destroyed in all regions of the country and a dangerous source of damage to the health of the youngest has been neutralized.

"Even in this mega operation, there was a high degree of risk, but the professionalism was maximum. The State Police is on the verge of finalizing other national and international mega-operations", Rrumbullaku added.
