After 8 years, the National Folk Festival returned to Gjirokastër yesterday evening.

A large number of citizens were present at this festival, while Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present with his little son, Zaho, and his wife, Linda Rama.

The Prime Minister has shared some photos from this festival as he writes: "Gjirokastra more beautiful than ever, as never loved by people from all over the world, where our folklore has never spoken to them with its magical sounds and colors so much people from different cultures".

We recall that the festival held its tenth edition in 2015, while it has returned this year. The parade of motifs, rhythms, colors, songs, dances, rituals will unfold in the parade that will take place in the stone city from June 24 to July 2.
