The police of Berat have arrested the 62-year-old teacher Servet Bejo, after he was denounced by a television show yesterday that he had sexually harassed a 14-year-old student at the 9-year-old school in the village of Barç in Skrapari, where he worked.

It is learned that he was detained by police officers and has been in the premises of the Berat Police Station for several hours, where he is being interrogated regarding the incident, which according to the minor happened on November 10.

Sources confirm that the 14-year-old minor is also in the police premises together with her parents. She is being interrogated, not only in the presence of her parents but also of the two psychologists of DVP Berat, to give her testimony about the event in question.

The minor said that the teacher, Servet Bejo, grabbed her by the hair and kissed her on the lips, then pinned her against the wall.

"That class we had physical education, but I entered the classroom and I was reading physics, the teacher told me that I have become very beautiful, approached me, and asked me to kiss you on the lips. I said no but get out of there. He grabbed my hair and kissed me on the lips. Then he pinned me against the wall." the minor showed.

The 14-year-old girl says that the teacher threatened her not to tell about the episode, but in fact the girl screamed and at that moment her sister, a student of that school a year younger, went. After that day, the teacher Servet Bejo had resigned, on the grounds that he was threatened by the minor's family members.

It is learned that the parents of some of the girl's family members are also testifying against the teacher, according to whom the teacher threatened them after the incident so that none of them would report.

It is learned that even though the girl had notified the school principal, no one had notified the police, who learned about the incident through the media.

Servet Bejo left the school immediately after the incident and since November 11, 6 children of the 9-year-old school in the village of Barç do not study because the school is closed.
