Tirana Police have announced that they have found and seized the knife that Filip Shehu, a pizza chef, used to kill the chef at a bar in the Paris Commune the day before.

The 41-year-old arrested man was previously convicted of possession of cold weapons.

Police announcement:

He killed citizen II with a cutting tool (knife) in the premises of the bar in the Municipality of Paris, where they both worked, and the perpetrator was arrested in flagrante delicto, who was caught by the Police services immediately after the crime.

The cutting tool (knife) with which the crime was allegedly committed is found and seized.

Following the procedural actions carried out in relation to the incident that occurred yesterday afternoon, in the Municipality of Paris, where citizen F. Sh. is suspected of killing citizen II, 36 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), during a conflict for weak motives, in the premises of the bar where both worked, specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat No. 2 and the services of the Special Force "Eagle", carried out the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen F. Sh., 41 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder" and "Unauthorized Production, Possession, Purchase or Sale of Cold Weapons".

They also found and seized, as material evidence, the cutting tool (knife), with which it is suspected that citizen F. Sh. committed the murder.

Further verifications revealed that the suspected perpetrator of the murder, citizen F. Sh., who was arrested immediately after the crime, had previously been convicted of the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons."

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
