As part of the investigation into Suel Cela's criminal organization, Elbasan judge Pajtime Fetahu was arrested and the homes of several judges and prosecutors suspected of having ties to this organization were searched.

SPAK also ordered the seizure of several cell phones, including the cell phone of former judge Enkelejda Kapedani .

The latter was mentioned in conversations between members of the organization, who asked her for favors, but at one point, according to them, she told them that she had respect for them, but she wanted to make a career, VNA writes .

Kapedani has challenged the SPAK decision to seize the mobile phone in the Special Court.

A court hearing was held on Monday to consider the former judge's request.

At the request of the parties, the hearing was postponed. Enkelejda Kapedani was dismissed from office in 2022 as part of the vetting process.

She has appealed the decision to the KPA but the case has not yet been reviewed.

Meanwhile, earlier on January 17, 2021, she was suspended from duty by the High Judicial Council after publishing on TikTok several videos filmed in the office and while driving.
