The director of the Port of Saranda resigns, here's who will replace him

Admir Malaj

Admir Malaj has been removed from his position as director of the Port of Saranda, and Gjergji Mërkuri has been appointed in his place.

The change comes after a period in which Malaj led the port institution, a task he took on in the summer of 2025 after transferring from the Port of Vlora.

So far, the official reasons for Malaj's departure have not been made public.
