RENEA forces have solved the murder of Gentian Qarri , whose execution took place on the evening of February 6, 2021.

The perpetrators waited for about 10 minutes on the street until he left the premises of a nearby tire shop and went to the bar.

Video footage seized by the Vlora prosecutor's office shows that the " Toyota Yaris ", where the perpetrators were standing, moved shortly before they opened fire.

A police car passed nearby, so they were forced to leave and return within a few moments, waiting for their target, Gentian Qarri , or as he was otherwise known in Vlora, nicknamed "Gëçje", to appear .

He was shot with 20 bullets, 6 of which in the body.

From the footage administered by the police, it appears that he was shot with an automatic weapon from inside a moving Toyota Yaris vehicle.

Qarri had returned to Vlora 3 years ago after being sentenced in Italy to 11 years in prison on drug trafficking charges.
