Who is Artan Myrtaj who was executed today in the center of Saranda!

Artan Myrtaj is the 44-year-old who was executed today by gunfire in the center of Saranda.

He was also known by the nickname "Tani Ruzhdiut", and was involved in a criminal incident that occurred on July 17, 2025 in neighborhood no. 4 of Saranda, where Ernest Lama and Gëzim Hajdaraj from Kamza were injured with gunfire.

The perpetrator of the injuries was Ramadan Zoto, while Klaus Jaçaj, together with Erjon Jaçaj and Artan Myrtaj, collaborated with him and helped him escape after the incident. Immediately after this incident, there were a series of revenge episodes in Saranda, where Isuf Jaçaj, Klaus Jaçaj's father, was killed with TNT, and there was a case of destruction of Ramadan Zoto's property.

According to preliminary information, Ramadan Zoto is currently serving a prison sentence for injuring Ernest Lama and Gëzim Hajdaraj, while today's victim Artan Myrtaj, along with Klaus Jaçaj, were accused of "supporting the perpetrator" and were released a short time ago.

It is learned that Myrtaj was a drug user, and had a previous criminal record for 'theft', while Erjon Canaj remains wanted.
