The person you see in the photos is the 39-year-old Florian Gjergji, wanted since January 10 of this year as the head of the group that managed to deceive the most powerful businessmen of Tirana, some of them taking large sums of money in the name of well-known politicians of the country.

Florian Gjergji wrote in communication applications to businessmen pretending to be a well-known politician with a high state position and it has been proven that he cheated at least in three cases and a fourth case is also suspected.

It is suspected that the 39-year-old is in Germany, where he has been organizing all the fraud schemes for a long time.

He is suspected as the "head" of the fraud group, as are his associates in Albania 

 In the first operation coded under the name "Signal", Jasmin Pepaj, Rezart Pepaj and Sherif Kadrovic were captured. The three young people from Shkodra tried to deceive the construction businessman Pëllumb Salillari by asking him for 130 thousand euros through a message where they introduced themselves as "Edi". Three days later, the police handcuffed 3 more suspects, Erjon Lika, Edmir Jace and Gazmir Ismailaj, in the "Subject" operation.

They tried to take 13 thousand euros from the administrator of a business in Kamza. Furthermore, on February 13, in the "Attempt" operation, Ergys Ahmetaj, Andi Basha and Gëzim Kusi were arrested, who demanded money from the owner of a casino in Tirana. In the last case, the perpetrators demanded 100 thousand euros from the businessman Ram Geci, to whom they were fraudulently presented in the name of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

"I'm sorry, you know my situation these days, do you have a chance for 100 (thousand euros)?" - was the message sent to businessman Ram Geci.

The police tracked down the people who went to get the money and arrested father and son, Bedri and Albert Vodha, during the coded operation "Telegram".

Në hetimet e kryera nga Njësia “E” ka rezultuar se koka kryesore kriminale e mashtrimit në operacionet “Subjekti”, “Tentativa” dhe “Telegram”, është 39-vjeçari Florian Gjergji, i cili  i ka shpëtuar arrestimit.

Në rastin e tentativës për të mashtruar pronarin e “Everest”, Florian Gjergji, përmes një aplikacioni komunikimi me numër me prefiks të Britanisë së Madhe, u prezantua si zyrtar i tatimeve. Kur tentoi të mashtronte pronarin e një kazinoje u prezantua në emër të ish-kreut të Kadastrës, Artan Lame, ndërsa në rastin e fundit për biznesmenin Ramë Geci u prezantua si kryetari i bashkisë së Tiranës, Erion Veliaj. Siç duket, Florian Gjergji, ka informacione të detajuar të marrëdhënieve të biznesmenëve edhe me politikanët.

Sources indicate that these are the proven cases of his fraud, but Florian Gjergji is suspected of having made other attempts as well, deceiving in the name of the current mayor of Laçi, or the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi.
