The person who drowned this Wednesday afternoon in the Mat river near Ura e Zogut has been identified. Sources indicate that the victim is citizen Valentin Nikolli, 22 years old from Fushë Miloti.

It is learned that he went fishing with two of his friends. The 22-year-old went in to bathe and was swept away by the flow of the river. His friends saw him for a few minutes and then he disappeared. It was his two friends who alerted the police.

Numerous forces in blue uniforms and an ambulance are at the scene, while the arrival of the rescuers is expected to remove the dead body.
