The former police officer from Rinas, Briken Terziu, was left in prison indefinitely by the Court of Tirana.
He was arrested on suspicion of allowing citizens who had problems with documentation to pass from Rinas airport to EU countries.
His defense lawyer asked the court for a lighter security measure with the claim that Terziu turned himself in to the police, as well as that he is a harmless person and has not been convicted before.
The investigations showed that Terziu cooperated with Eneo Sulajmani for this activity, the latter arrested for distributing narcotics.
