The former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, on the run, asks the Special Court to lift the seizure for one of the bank accounts blocked by SPAK.

His request will be examined on Thursday, September 21 by Judge Erjon Bani, who has also issued the security measure "Arrest in prison" in his absence.

Ahmetaj, taken under investigation by SPAK for some more serious charges, those of corruption and money laundering, have had 4 apartments seized, as well as two bank accounts in the amount of 124,300 euros.

It is suspected that Arben Ahmetaj lives in London, but this fact has not been officially confirmed.
