Not only in Tirana: Three foreigners are detained in Shkodra, suspected of spreading religious ideology to children

Shkodra police have detained three foreign citizens, two men and a woman of Middle Eastern origin.

Their detention was made following a request from the anti-terror office of the Tirana Police Directorate.

The three detainees were immediately sent to Tirana as escorted persons, where they are being questioned about their activities in our country.

It is learned that the anti-terror office at the General Directorate of the State Police and the anti-terrorist office of the National Intelligence Service have requested the police directorates in the regions to escort several people throughout Albania, who will be questioned about their activities in our country.

These verifications come a few days after images of several suspicious, masked individuals attempting to approach children were published in the media.

Police sources say that preliminary investigations suggest that the individuals in question are attempting to spread certain ideologies to children. It is suspected that these detentions are related to the case in Tirana.
