Doctors: Alketa Pere, Edmond Gashi, Brikena Qirjazi and Oncology Hospital

Other details regarding the scandal revealed by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana that brought to light the scheme of abuse in the Oncology department at QSUT, where doctors and specialists were involved, are revealed.

According to a part of the file disclosed by TCh , it has been learned that the main role in the fraud scandal is played by the head nurse of the pavilion.

The head nurse, after the appearance of each patient, received the program for the complete cure and then, the medication for each patient was provided by the state. But the cure was not left complete for treatment, and patients were taken out to buy it outside the hospital, specifically at two private pharmacies.

A chemotherapy drug is very expensive and the bottle ranges from 250 Euros to 1500 Euros.

In addition to the case when chemotherapy drugs are extracted and sold outside the hospital premises, there are other cases that prove that anyone can go inside the hospital pharmacy and for money can get drugs even though it may not be his turn to be cured.

In a conversation that was intercepted by the Prosecutor's Office, this very case is proven, where someone takes a place on someone else's waiting list.

Excerpts from the intercepts:

- Good morning approach. I am the soldier we communicated with. I have dad's chemo today, do we have medicine. DOCTOXEL?

- Morning. Ok.

- Hey Rudy.

- Please put someone in the system to do the 6 that he asked me to do.

- Shall I do better tomorrow?

- No no, do you have Keta there?

- Well, well, come on, I'll look for them.

- The bottle?

- Yes, 6 vials.
