Serious details from a serious incident that happened in Tirana, where a young man lost his life while working in a building under construction.

The event happened around 08:20, on " Aleksandër Mojsiu " street in the capital. 

The 28-year-old  Ardian Fejzullahi fell from the 7th floor of the building under construction while he was attaching some buckets of mortar. As a result of his injuries, he lost his life. The company that was building was " ANDI CONSTRUCTION " shpk, owned by Latif Miha .

Police notification:

On 27.05.2024, around 08:20, on "Aleksandër Mojsiu" street, in a building under construction, while working, citizen AF, 28 years old, fell from a height, who died as a result of the injuries he received .

This is the fourth fatal accident at work since the month of May, 3 employees tragically lost their lives in construction, the 28-year-old in Tirana and two other employees in Lezhë.

While another 24-year-old lost his life while working in a quarry in Brataj, Selenica, a massif of stone broke away from the mountain and took him down.

On May 9, 2024 in Lezhë, a 28-year-old worker died after falling from the ninth floor of the building while assembling the crane and it broke off.

The investigations showed that the young Emiliano Frroku was working illegally and that the last two floors of the building were being built without the relevant documentation.

In relation to the incident, the police declared 3 persons wanted and another was criminally prosecuted while at large.

Two days later, specifically at noon on May 11, 2024, another accident at work took the life of a 50-year-old Preng Gjoni, who was hit on the head by a board that broke off from the height, while he was working in a building under construction in Kune.

For this case, the Court has ordered the measure of house arrest for the administrator of the company Martin Kovaçi and the worker Eduard Frroku.
