The official reaction from the Police has arrived regarding the case of the rape of a married couple this Wednesday morning in the village of Arst in Fushë Arrëz.

According to the blue uniforms, it is suspected that there were two citizens, still unidentified, who hit Skënder and Bardhe Nika with hard objects.

The injured are in hospital for medical attention, and it is learned that their lives are out of danger.

Police announcement:

On 17.06.2026, at around 08:00, in the village of Arst, on the street, it is suspected that 2 still unidentified citizens have hit citizens SN, 55 years old, and BN, 51 years old, both residents of the village of Arst, with hard objects.

As a result, the two citizens suffered minor injuries and are out of danger.

The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and capture the perpetrators.
