The court released Marjeta Karaj from prison on charges of murdering Menduh Kurt Deda.
The woman's release was ordered after the Court of Appeal in June overturned the decision against her and ordered the Tirana Court to re-examine the investigative file for the massacre of the elderly Menduh Kurt Deda, who eight years ago was kidnapped, brutally raped in a neighborhood of the capital and then burned with gasoline in the Dajti area.
The appeal overturned the 22-year prison sentence for the defendants, including the woman, her wanted son, and Gazmend Ngota.
The latter states that the victim was hiding from Luljeta because of a debt. "We saw him with Besmir and he called her by name as he took her into the car. When he asked Luljeta what to do with her, she said: 'Get rid of her'."/Top channel
