The Criminal Court of Kosovo sentences the collaborator of justice, Artan Tafani, to 2 years and 4 months in prison

The Special Court announced the verdict for Kristi Bixheku and Artan Tafani, two defendants who were tried in a summary procedure for committing the criminal offenses of "destruction of property with explosives", "providing conditions and material means to commit murder", and "structured criminal group".

The Black Platoons sentenced Kristi Bixheku to 3 years and 6 months in prison, a sentence which was reduced to 2 years and 4 months with a summary trial.

The Special Prosecution had requested 8 years in prison, 6 with a summary trial, but Bixheku was found innocent for several episodes.

Artan Tafani was sentenced to 7 years in prison. The latter received a 1/3 reduction in the sentence, being sentenced to 4 years and 8 months. In his capacity as a collaborator of justice, the Special Court finally sentenced him to 2 years and 4 months.
