High school graduate in Kukës expelled for publishing thesis on social media

The Ministry of Education announces that the Albanian Language and Literature exam for more than 26,600 high school graduates is taking place normally throughout the country, in full security conditions and in accordance with the relevant regulations.

It is reported that the exam was held in 144 exam centers, in environments with calm, order and transparency.

Regarding the publication of thesis photos on social networks, it is clarified that this action occurred after the exam had begun and did not affect the testing process.

The case was recorded at an exam center in the Kukës Region, where the high school graduate who published the thesis was immediately excluded from the exam. Punitive measures will be applied both to the high school graduates who violate the regulations, as well as to the entire administrative chain at the respective center.

Also, preparations for the 2026 State Matura include designing tests with high security standards, certifying administrative personnel, conducting consultations in schools, distributing model tests from the Educational Services Center, organizing mock tests, and providing psychological support to high school graduates.
