This is what the Faith Park will look like , which will be built in a giant space in the Petrela hills, once a military barracks.

The project was designed by ' BIG Bjarke Ingels Group ', from Denmark, which was announced the winner among 12 international architectural studios, while the participants were from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy .

This park is designed to have several spaces that will represent the religious beliefs of Albanians, where each religion will have its own path, with elements according to the sacred scriptures of each faith, starting from cult objects to plants mentioned in the holy books.

All faith paths will culminate and unite at the Museum of Memory to be built in the Park of Faith in memory of the victims of religious persecution under the communist regime.

According to the project, there will be no shortage of religious sites, thermal baths, ecological spaces, or even restaurants with traditional cuisine from every religious community.

Present at the ceremony announcing the winning project, Prime Minister Edi Rama called it a matter of pride, while saying that there should be more than one such park.

'It's not that we're not convinced, we're quite convinced, but, at the same time, I would like to see more parks. I hope we can celebrate together the opening of this park, which is something we'll be very proud of,' he said.

The area where the " Faith Park " will be built is 210 thousand square meters on the edge of the Erzen Valley.

The project should be designed to host 30 thousand visitors per year, and within it there will be structures that will serve for small events but also for events with a capacity of up to 500 people.

Everything built within this park will bear the symbols of each faith.

100 'hospitable shelters' will be built within the park so that visitors can experience 'high spiritual well-being '.

Within the park there will also be restaurants tailored to the traditional cuisine of each religious community, as well as a pavilion with trees and plants that have special significance for religious beliefs.

Also within the park will be built a 'Museum of Memory' dedicated to the victims of religious persecution under the communist regime.
