In Sunday's local elections in the municipality of Gjakova, citizens found on the list of candidates the name of the late Nikollë Perkaj, former chairman of the Albanian Democratic National Front.
According to the results published by the Central Election Commission (CEC), Nikollë Perkaj received 52 votes in these elections.
Perkaj passed away a few months ago after an accident, but due to legal deadlines and election procedures, his name remained on the official list of candidates.
