The organization of the European final between Rome and Feynord has put in full readiness all the structures of the Albanian government.

The ambulance service is strengthened, dedicated wards in the three university hospitals and doubling of the medical teams. The National Emergency will coordinate the service.

On the eve of the final match of the UEFA Conference League, between the Italian team of Rome and the Dutch team of Feynord, which will take place tomorrow in Tirana, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, has seen closely the plan of measures prepared for the situation health, in case the help of medical teams will be needed. Minister Manastirliu inspected this morning the National Medical Emergency Center, where she spoke about the enhanced readiness of ambulances, hospitals and medical teams.

"Measures have been taken that in addition to the 9 ambulances that will be in the fixed posts, there are also 7 additional ambulances, which are in circulation. So health emergencies in Tirana will be faced with increased capacity, because preparedness will be increased. On the other hand, the medical teams, which will be placed in the stadium, are 8 teams that have been trained with doctors, nurses who will be inside the stadium. There are also ambulances outside the stadium, which have the opportunity to transport, in cases where there may be a health emergency ", said Manastiriu.

In addition to the National Emergency ambulances, Manastirliu said that the three university hospitals in Tirana will be on increased alert with beds dedicated to emergencies that may occur.

"The important thing is that the hospitals are ready. Whether the Trauma Hospital has already put a ward with dedicated capacity, to have the convenience that all cases that will have, ie transported by the National Emergency, to have a dedicated ward. Also QSUT with the toxicology ward and other services, dedicated to provide services, as well as the hospital "Shefqet Ndroqi", where we have dedicated wards. "But above all, the teams are on alert and have been strengthened, doubling", said Manastirliu.

For the final night, the areas where the different fans will gather have been determined, for which Manastirliu said that there will also be ambulances to be on standby at any moment.

"The plan is clear for the Fan Zone as well. An organization has been made there as well. Whether near the lake, or on the street "Murat Toptani" and in the square "Skënderbej" we will have increased ambulances. But also all other emergency units, ie ambulances in service, we will continue to have a service dedicated to any other emergency to be in Tirana ", said Manastirliu.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has undertaken a detailed plan of measures to cope with any possible health emergency, for the progress of the final match of the UEFA Conference League that will take place on Wednesday in Tirana.

The organization with the National Emergency is done in such a way as to cover the medical service with 7 posts in the stadium (with teams of doctors and nurses) as well as 8 other mobile teams of doctors and nurses, for each emergency.

In addition to the stadium, measures have been taken to increase the number of ambulance stations in the areas where the fans will be stationed as well as in key points of the city. There will be 16 ambulances on standby in Tirana. The service is organized in the university hospitals with additional medical teams in the Trauma Hospital, "Shefqet Ndroqi" and in QSUT. Measures have been taken to have dedicated wards in all three university hospitals of Tirana in case of a potential influx of cases that will require medical assistance. The necessary medicines and medical materials for each emergency are provided.

MSHMS reminds that 127 is a unique number, where you can call for any health emergency.
