The husband of a former police officer has been jailed for selling drugs stamped through luxury watch brand Hublot.

Julian Agalliu, 47, used an encrypted app to distribute cocaine and cannabis before the system was hit by international law enforcement in 2020.

He bragged to his fellow criminals that he was married to police officer Rasvinder Agalliu, 45. Woolwich Crown Court heard the cocaine was found at their home in Hadley Wood, North London.

Albanian Agalliu was sentenced to 18 years in prison for drug supply carried out in collaboration and possession of cocaine and criminal assets.

His wife, a model and personal trainer, was sacked by London's Met force last December after more than £27,000 in cash was found at the couple's home in 2020.

Prosecutor William Davis said: “ Agalliu and McNeil-Duncan were identified as EncroChat users. Those devices were used to organize the supply of large quantities of cocaine and cannabis.

It was a secure communication system used by organized criminals. They believed that this kept them from being intercepted and, as a result, arrested by law enforcement agencies. A factor that further aggravates the situation is the use of sophisticated technology methods to avoid detection.”
