Sad/ Doctor Alketa Stroni passes away at a young age

A bitter news comes from Germany, where an Albanian doctor died at a young age in Germany. Alketa Dano Stroni, who had been living in Germany for some time, passed away at a young age, leaving behind her two children and her husband.

The sad news was announced by Dr. Gramoz Hodaj, who in a long post on social networks shows his acquaintance with Alketa when he went to the hospital as an intern.


From an intern, Alketa would become a lady doctor who would then work for some time in the Emergency Department of the University Trauma Hospital.

"I have always felt proud to have by my side a brilliant colleague with immeasurable knowledge in medicine and not only... You will always remain in my memory a colleague, smiling, fragile, strong, beautiful, loving, gentle, knowledgeable, dedicated, peaceful and deeply humane", writes Dr. Hodaj, among other things.

I don't know how to be silent when my heart and soul speak within me with tangible words.

This is what happened to me this morning, when I learned the news that Dr. Alketa Stroni had passed away in far away and cold Germany.

Today another star was extinguished from the elite sky of our hospital's history

As I was reading the dedication posted on FB by Tani my friend, and beloved husband of Alketa, tears betrayed me and sadness gripped me in every corner of my soul.

Years ago, two young doctors came to our emergency room to practice medicine, Dr. Alketa and Dr. Irena.

With the approach, energy, positivity, citizenship and commitment they demonstrated, they left deep impressions among our staff.

After completing the specialization in internal medicine, Dr. Alketa worked with me in the Emergency Department of the University Trauma Hospital.

I have always felt proud to have had a brilliant colleague by my side with immeasurable knowledge in medicine and beyond

Dear Alketa,

Your life was quite short, but filled more with deeds than with days.

You lived among us leading a life between storms, facing pain, dreams, love and hope.

You never accepted the loss and hatred in your soul.

Your name and work will shine above all these clouds that are above us today.

You always aimed to be among the stars and never looked back.

And today you are ascending peacefully among the stars, leaving us behind in the midst of pain and sadness, but also with your brilliance

The boundaries between life and death are blurred and hazy.

You will always remain in my memory as a colleague, smiling, fragile, strong, beautiful, loving, gentle, knowledgeable, dedicated, peaceful and deeply humane.

Life is too short. Tomorrow doesn't exist for anyone...Goodbye
