Serious in Shkodra: 49-year-old woman dies in hospital, suspected of consuming

A 49-year-old woman lost her life this Thursday at the Shkodra Regional Hospital, after allegedly consuming a large amount of medication in her apartment.

According to preliminary police information, the citizen with the initials DP passed away at around 1:50 p.m., after being rushed to the hospital, but was unable to survive the consequences.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the cause of death.

The police have launched investigations, and it is expected that relevant expertise will shed more light on this case.
