Police confirms: The 26-year-old reported missing by his father is found dead

Korça police have confirmed that the dead body found today in the reservoir of Kolanec village of Maliq, belongs to the 26-year-old, reported missing by his parents.

The victim is Martin Çeço, a resident of Kolanec. Yesterday, the father of the 26-year-old reported to the Police that he had lost contact with his son.

The police announces that the dead body was transported to the morgue of the Korça hospital, where the answer of the forensic expertise will be expected to determine the cause of death.

It is not yet known the circumstances of the event, whether the 26-year-old ended his life himself, or was drowned by someone else. According to the locals, Martin Çeço was known in the community as a calm and non-problematic guy.

The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
