SCARY/ Journalist: In the "fire palace" in Tirana there was a pregnant

A 10-story building on Kavaja Street in Tirana was engulfed in flames.

After the intervention, the fire brigade managed to neutralize the flames after a few hours, while the area was covered by a plume of smoke.

Earlier, the director of the fire department in Tirana, Shkëlqim Goxhaj, clarified that the fire first broke out on the second floor and not on the upper floors, as was suspected after the fire.

Bw writes that first the fire fell on the second floor, then it spread from the side, helped by the material of the facade of the building to spread faster, reaching the 9th floor, where the entire terrace caught fire.

Then from there the fire again involved the facade going down to the fifth floor in the rest of the building.

"Some of the residents were taken by representatives of the Municipality of Tirana and it was communicated to them that the Municipality of Tirana will help them.

Three groups of experts from the fire service and the Municipality of Tirana have also been set up and have communicated with the families whose homes were burned down , writes bw .
