Details from the serious incident in Këlcyrë , where a 30-year-old woman was raped by her family members.

According to the announcement from the blue uniforms, 4 people have been processed by the police, including the 30-year-old's brother and uncle, who are suspected of being the main perpetrators of the incident.

The young woman was taken by force and raped by her brother and uncle, in the latter's house. 

It is suspected that the 30-year-old's divorce was the cause.

It is learned that the latter has requested a divorce from her husband, but this has been opposed by her family.

After the arguments, it is suspected that she was then taken and raped by her brother and uncle.

Meanwhile, for the other two people also prosecuted, EM and LL, it is not yet known what their involvement in the incident was and whether or not they have family ties. 

Police announcement:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Gjirokastra Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens AA, 34 years old, SA, 53 years old and EM, 51 years old, all three residents of Tirana, as well as against citizen LL, 43 years old, resident of Këlcyrë, as it is suspected that as a result of a family conflict, citizens AA, SA and EM forcibly took the 34-year-old's sister, who is also the 53-year-old's niece, into a vehicle.

It is further suspected that the 30-year-old was raped by her brother and uncle, in the latter's apartment. It is also suspected that the 43-year-old was aware of the case, and did not report it to the police.
