"Get out, it's exploding"/ As the gas leak burst in the

One of the students of the school in Porto Romano, where the learning process was interrupted due to the risk of explosion, after the gas leak in a tank at the "Elka" factory, spoke to the media.

The student said that the school principal told the students to take their bags and run away from the school, while a teacher told them to get out because there was a gas explosion.

"We were in the fourth lesson. A presser came and said get out girls and boys because the gas is exploding. The principal told us to take our bags and run away, and we took our bags and ran away because we were very scared," said the school student.

One of the residents stated that the gas flow from the tank is visible to the naked eye, while he compared it to a water fountain. He added that the children who were in the 9-year-old school 'Met Hasa' were only 30 meters away from the tank and according to him it was luck that saved the residents of the area since there was no spark that could provoke a massive fire.

" With the naked eye, you can see how the gas flows, like a fountain. It's 300 meters away from my apartment, where the leak is, it's very close to the 9 year old school, not even 30 meters from there. The teacher called and told us to get the children as soon as possible from the gas leak.

Imagine having your child next to a gas leak like an atomic bomb, this is the third or fourth time there have been large gas explosions, this situation has been happening for at least 3 months.

We protested but the work continued regularly, it was our luck that there was no spark of flame that we could have a big disaster today ", said one of the residents.
