The Ministry of the Interior and the State Police have taken drastic measures against the Kruja police station, after the barbaric violence of the Rraja tribe that shocked the entire public opinion.

During today's day, Minister Çuçi held a meeting over six hours with the head of the State Police, Muhamet Rrmbullaku. At the end of the meeting, the Police announced that they have arrested eight participants in the violence against the Maja brothers and have announced the search for the son and brother of the now resigned MP Rrahman Rraja.

The announcement stated that the police station in Kruja will be completely renovated, from the enforcement levels to the leaders.

"Also following the measures taken, the entire body of executive and management levels of the Krujë Police Station will be renewed and the Director of the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, First Director Tonin Vocaj is the operational leader and responsible for matters of order and security, in the territorial jurisdiction of this police station", inform the police.

It did not take long when after this statement, the deputy of the Socialist Party Rrahman Rraja announced his resignation and permanent departure from politics. As he apologized to his colleagues and the electorate, he said he feels like a failure as a parent.
