The prosecution of Elbasan has provided information about the action carried out a few days ago in two apartments in Belsh, in one of which it received information that the much-wanted Talo Çela was hiding.

According to the prosecutor's office, after receiving the information, a proactive investigation was launched against the two persons in question, where the telephone interception of some numbers was allowed.

The control in the two apartments was done in the morning hours of October 13. Specifically, in the apartment of 60-year-old Aqif Bezati, where Talo Çela was allegedly hiding, weapons, cartridges, hand grenades, a bag of cannabis and a large amount of money were found.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance has registered and is continuing the investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1433, year 2022 for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" provided by Article 278 of the Criminal Code. Criminal.

On the part of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Elbasan, after the registration of the criminal proceedings, they have started proactive investigations by applying special investigation methods. Specifically, with the decision no. 807, dated 12.10.2022 of the Elbasan Court of First Instance, wiretapping of some numbers was requested and allowed.

Whereas with the decision no. 801, dated 11.10.2022 of the Court of First Instance Elbasan, the control of the apartments and any other environment connected or auxiliary to them, as well as the vehicles located in these apartments, and specifically: Apartment of citizen VD , with the address of a private residence in the village of Dëshiran in NJA Grekan in the Municipality of Belsh and the residence of citizen AB, with the address of a private residence in the village of Dëshiran in the Municipality of Grekan, in the Municipality of Belsh.

For the execution of this decision by the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Elbasan, the services of the judicial police at the Cërrik Police Station and DVP Elbasan have been assigned.

On 13.10.2022, at 07.00 a.m. and following, a search was carried out in the residence of citizen AB, located in the village of Dëshiran in Belshi.

From the control in this apartment, it turns out that the following items of material evidence quality were found and seized:

– A firearm of the type TT pistol, model 54 with a comb with 8 cartridges, 539 pieces of cartridges mod.54, cal.7.62 mm;

– A mol.56 and cal.7.62 mm combat firearm, 5 metal bow combs, 4 of which are filled with mod.56 and cal.7.62 mm cartridges;

– 2835 pieces of cartridges mod.56 and ka.7.62 mm, 9 pieces of firearm cartridges mod.53, ka.7.62 mm; – – 2 teaching hand grenades;

– 2 unified burners;

– 3 hand grenades of the defensive type with igniters and unified and one defensive hand grenade with an ebony plug;

– A plastic bag with dry plant material similar in smell and physical characteristics to the narcotic substance of the cannabis sattiva type with a total weight of 3.6 kg, a quantity of dried plants with stems and pods similar to the narcotic plant of the opium type with a total weight 1.4 kg;

– 2 mobile telephones, 10 pieces of 12 mm shotgun cartridges and a significant amount of money of 54,000 Lek, 260,000 Lek, 1,056,000 Lek, 2,170,000 Lek, 220,000 Lek, 980 British pounds, 4020 British pounds, 7,250 euros, 1700 euros.

On 13.10.2022, at 08.25 a.m., a search was carried out in the residence of citizen VD, located in the village of Dëshiran in Belshi. From the control in this apartment, it turns out that the following items of the quality of material evidence were found and seized:

– A 12 mm shotgun, a necklace with 30 12 mm cartridges, as well as two boxes of 6 and 19 12 mm cartridges, as well as a telephone.

On the part of the judicial police, the arrest was made in flagrante delicto of the AB citizen, suspected of the criminal offenses of: "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" provided by article 278/3/4/5 of the Penal Code , "Production and sale of narcotics" provided by article 283/1 of the Penal Code and "Cleaning of the products of the criminal offense or criminal activity" provided by article 287/1 of the Penal Code and VD citizens, suspected of the criminal offense of "Production and illegal possession of hunting and sporting weapons" provided by article 280 of the Penal Code.

The investigation for this criminal proceeding was followed in cooperation with the judicial police services at the Cërrik Police Station in DVP Elbasan.
