Several citizens have been detained during recent protests, following clashes and tensions between police and citizens.

According to preliminary information, the escorted persons have been held at the police station for verification procedures and it is expected that a decision will be made within the legal 72-hour deadline whether they will be released or transferred to the court for assessment of the security measure.

This group of detainees also includes Admir Tërshalla , a programmer who was escorted by the police in the context of these developments.

The ban coincides with an important personal moment, the day he had planned to hold his wedding ceremony.

The authorities have not yet made a final decision on the fate of the detainees, and it is expected that within 72 hours it will be determined whether there will be releases or further legal proceedings for each individual case.
