Investigations into the double murder in Foinikounta continue, while Greek police have identified a 22-year-old from Kallithea as the perpetrator and have also arrested his accomplice.

Both were connected to the victims through seasonal work and gave conflicting testimonies.

Authorities suspect that a mastermind is behind the crime, who is expected to be discovered through investigations of phone calls before and after the murder.

A key witness, the nephew of one of the victims, recognized the perpetrator, but not the accomplice, on the day of the incident.

Investigators are also analyzing a suspicious phone call made from the campsite shortly after the murder, which could lead to the real "mastermind" of the crime.
