Call Centers no longer serve only for the sale of goods or gas and electricity, but also for the sale of drugs.

The investigations of the Prosecutor's Office of Perugia have succeeded in discovering a large traffic network, which operated from Albania to Italy.

After the operation of the Italian police, an Albanian citizen was arrested, who is accused of being a participant in the "transnational association aimed at illegal drug trafficking".

The investigations carried out by the Italian prosecutor's office revealed that drug trafficking was carried out in the form of call-centers, where orders were made in Albania, and then distributed in the neighboring country.

The Italian media, referring to the investigators, write that the drug dealers were organized "according to a methodical rotation in Italy, characterized by short and intense periods of drug distribution", while then leaving to stay for months in the country of origin.

"Contacts with buyers were maintained by a member of the criminal group, located in Albania, who then communicated the order to various distributors who could be present closer to the customer in Italy. In this particular case, the cocaine distributor had an apartment and a vehicle, while the circulation of narcotics is estimated at around 10,000 euros per month", explain the agents of the Anti-Mafia of Perugia.

Furthermore, the detainee was found to have been deported twice before from the territory of the Italian state. For this reason, the Albanian was also arrested for drug possession and violation of the consolidated immigration law and was imprisoned in Perugia-Capanne.
